FAQ
This section answers the most common questions about working with professional 3D assets — from searching and purchasing models to customization, production, and monetization.
READY 3D® is a global platform for professional, production-ready 3D models, custom design services, and digital assets suitable for real-world applications — from manufacturing and engineering to gaming, AR/VR, and marketing.
READY 3D® is a hybrid platform.
It operates as a marketplace for professional 3D models, a studio for custom 3D projects, and a 3D printing service, enabling users to complete the full workflow — from selecting or creating a model to receiving a physical product.
READY 3D® brings together everything buyers and creators need within a single professional 3D ecosystem. Users can download ready-made models, order custom design services, or request 3D printing, while creators can monetize their work with royalties of up to 90%, build a personal brand, and reach clients worldwide.
Built-in analytics, promotional tools, and expert support are available at every stage, while an integrated workflow ensures reliability, convenience, and global reach — setting READY 3D® apart from other platforms.
To find the required asset, use the READY 3D® search bar located at the top of the website.

Enter one or several keywords. Search accuracy depends on the specificity of your query.
Recommended approach:
- Use precise terms (e.g., “engine”, “low poly, character”, “PBR texture”).
- Combine multiple keywords to narrow results.
- Specify technical characteristics where relevant.
READY 3D® offers:
- 3D Models
- 3D Print Models
- 3D Textures (including PBR texture sets)
After entering the catalog or performing a search, you can refine results using available filters. READY 3D offers two types of filtering:
1. Filters on the main page:
These allow you to quickly narrow your search by broad categories before entering the full catalog. (See main page menu)

2. Filters on the models page:
(See models page)

Available filters may include:
• Category (characters, vehicles, interiors, mechanical parts, etc.)
• Purpose (game-ready, 3D print-ready, high-poly, low-poly)
• Price
• Popularity
• New arrivals
• Asset type (3D Model, 3D Print Model, Texture)
Filters can be combined to match your project requirements.
You can view all models from a specific author by clicking on the author’s name on the model page or by selecting an author from the Top Creators section on the main page.
Yes. READY 3D® offers curated collections based on:
• Industry sector
• Technical purpose
• Author portfolios

Collections allow users to source multiple related or compatible models within a single package, simplifying asset selection for complex or large-scale projects.
No. READY 3D® provides digital assets.
These include:
• 3D Models
• 3D Print Models
• 3D Textures (including PBR maps)
After purchase, you receive a digital file, which can be used in accordance with the selected license.
If you
require a physical object, you may use the 3D printing service (if available
for the selected model).
READY 3D® assets are suitable for:
• Animation and VFX
• Game development
• AR/VR applications
• Architecture and visualization
• Engineering and manufacturing
• Marketing and product presentation
• Prototyping and CNC production
All assets are intended for practical use, not only visual presentation.
Many models on READY 3D® are created with production-oriented geometry.
However, final suitability depends on:
• Manufacturing technology
• Materials used
• Equipment limitations
• Project-specific technical requirements
Buyers are responsible for verifying compatibility before production.
A model is considered print-ready if:
• It is listed in the 3D Print Models category;
OR
• It has a clear “Print ready” attribute on its product page.
If neither of these indicators is present, direct 3D printing is not available.
Not all 3D models are suitable for manufacturing. Some are intended solely for rendering, animation, or game use.
Before purchasing a model for 3D printing, review:
• File format (typically STL)
• Dimensions and scalability
• Wall thickness
• Watertight / manifold geometry
• Support requirements
If uncertain, contact support prior to purchase
Yes.
Users may upload their own 3D files for printing provided that:
• They hold full rights to the file.
• The file meets technical production standards.
• The platform reserves the right to decline production if requirements are not met.
Direct printing is unavailable if the model:
• Is not listed under 3D Print Models;
AND
• Does not include a 3D Print compatibility attribute.
However, in certain cases, model adaptation for 3D printing may be possible.
Buyers may contact support to:
• Assess technical feasibility
• Receive a quotation for adaptation
• Confirm production timelines
Model adaptation is a separate paid service and depends on the original geometry and structure of the asset.
Yes, depending on the license type:
Personal Use Only License allows printing for personal use, gifts, or charitable purposes only. Selling physical products is not permitted.

Full licensing details are available via the License page.
Supported formats vary by asset.
Common formats include:
• OBJ
• FBX

• Resell a modified version as a standalone asset
• Distribute the file for free or commercially
• Upload it to other marketplaces, stock platforms, or digital services;
• Share it with third parties
• Use it to create a competing digital asset
Even under an Extended License, the digital file remains the intellectual property of the author.
Models may only be used as part of a larger project (game, scene, visualization, physical product, etc.) in accordance with the license terms.
If the license requires attribution, the author's name and source must be credited.
If not
required, attribution remains recommended as professional practice.

If a buyer disputes a payment through their bank, PayPal, or card provider, the payment processor will investigate the case.
Creator payouts are not automatically suspended during this process.
If the dispute is resolved in favor of the buyer and a refund must be issued, the corresponding transaction amount may be deducted from the creator’s payouts. Any chargeback or processing fees imposed by the payment provider may also be applied.

Yes.
READY 3D facilitates payments between buyers and creators by processing transactions through trusted payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal, and bank transfers (IBAN / SWIFT).
READY 3D acts as the platform that enables transactions and distributes creator royalties according to the platform’s payout system.
During registration, creators choose the currency in which they want to receive royalties:
• GBP
• EUR
• USD
Once selected, the payout currency cannot be changed, so it is important to choose the preferred currency during registration.
Creators can receive payouts using the following methods:
• PayPal
• Bank transfer (IBAN / SWIFT)
International payments may also be received through services such as Payoneer, when using bank details compatible with IBAN and SWIFT/BIC.
Creators can choose the payout method that best suits their region and banking setup.
Currently, creator payouts are processed once per month, regardless of the total accumulated balance.
We automatically deduct our platform commission from each sale.
The remaining amount represents the creator’s royalty and is displayed in the creator’s account dashboard.
We then send the full royalty amount shown in your account to your selected payout method.
Please note that payment providers such as PayPal, Payoneer, or banks may apply their own transaction or currency conversion fees. These fees are set by the providers and may be deducted from your payout according to their policies.
We do not control these fees and are not responsible for the final amount received after such deductions.
Creators are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes in their country of residence.
Yes.
All READY 3D users can access their purchase and payment history in their account dashboard.
The dashboard includes:

Creators can export their sales data by clicking the Export button. The data will be downloaded as an Excel file containing the full detailed report.
Personal contact information such as email addresses is never shared with creators.
Creator earnings are calculated based on the model sale price and the platform commission rate.
The commission rate depends on the creator’s level in the READY 3D system (for example Junior, Senior, or VIP).
The general formula is:
Sale price
– platform commission (based on creator level)
= creator royalty
Creators can view a detailed breakdown of each sale in their dashboard.
If a payment or payout fails, please follow these steps:
• Check the transaction status in your account dashboard.
• Verify that your payout details are correct (PayPal or bank details).
• Contact your payment provider to ensure there are no restrictions.
• If the issue persists, contact READY 3D® support via the Help button or 3dsupport@c-mes.co.uk.

The support team reviews all requests and responds in the order they are received.
Yes, we use our own AI solutions specifically developed for READY 3D® users. Each AI is trained to perform specific tasks, provide fast and accurate responses, and assist with navigation and platform instructions.
An initial response may be provided instantly through our specialized AI tools. If a request requires additional verification or expert involvement, the response time typically ranges from 1 hour to 2 business days, depending on the complexity of the issue and current support workload. This ensures that users receive accurate assistance, while AI acts as the first level of support, complementing — not replacing — the READY 3D® expert team.
You can track the status of any order or custom project through your READY 3D® account:
• For standard 3D models — order details and downloadable files are available in the “Your Orders” section.
• For custom projects — status is shown in the “Projects” section, including progress, timelines, performer comments, and intermediate results.
• You can also check the status directly via the platform chat or by contacting support at 3dsupport@c-mes.co.uk / support@c-mes.co.uk.
• A custom project order can only be cancelled before work has started.
• If work has already begun, refunds are not provided, as resources and effort have already been invested by the creator.
• In case of partially completed work, the parties may agree on a partial refund proportional to the unfinished part of the project.
• To request a cancellation or partial refund after work has started, you must contact support and provide the reason along with relevant details.
Order status, progress, and project details can be viewed in your account.
Customers can also communicate directly with the creator via the platform.
